What people asked us first

What if my child's English isn't strong enough?

Every paragraph can be opened in Korean. Opening many at first is fine. We count how many were opened, so you can see in My library whether it falls over time.

How much does it cost?

Joining, Daily Classics, the character quiz, Hidden Stories, reading the originals and lesson 1 of every book are free. From lesson 2 you need a subscription (₩3,400 a month or ₩29,900 a year), which you can cancel any time.

How many lessons a week?

We suggest two or three. At that pace A Christmas Carol takes five to seven weeks. Each lesson opens after the previous one is finished.

Can adults read too? Can a child work alone?

Yes to both. You become a reader yourself and can start at any stage. Add a child as a reader, choose them on your device, and they can work through a lesson on their own. A lesson takes about 40 minutes.

Won't Thomas just give the answers?

Thomas is instructed not to answer quiz questions or write for the reader. He uses questions, hints and paragraph numbers so you find it yourself. You can read every conversation in My library.

What information do you store?

The account holder's email and name, each reader's nickname and stage, and learning records (scores, time, writing, conversations with Thomas). We never collect a child's real name, email or phone number. Deleting the account deletes all records.

Who translated the Korean?

It is a paragraph-by-paragraph draft translation that we keep refining. The translation is there to support understanding; lessons center on the English original.

When will other books open?

The full list by stage is on the curriculum page. The 15-lesson courses open book by book.
